If X_BRANE is a direct reference to the "string theory" in physics, it’s also the result of a meeting ( Bordeaux 2004) between Mathias Pontévia, Bertrand Gauguet and Jean-Sébastien Mariage. Working on the sound possibilities of the horizontal drum, electric guitar and saxophones, X_BRANE drift within its areas of sound, creates a quantity of materials for the least singular, where distant memories intermingle from ethnic music, rock , contemporary, and leaves it to hear a music of opposites, sometimes brutal, sometimes meditative.
The CD "Penche Un Peu Vers L’Angle" was released on the beginning of 2011 for the label Amor Fati. It is available at Metamkine.
